Dubai — skyscrapers and desert
Dubai · Abu Dhabi
The Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah and a desert safari, with an optional day trip to Abu Dhabi and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

United Arab Emirates · The capital, Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Louvre
The capital of the Emirates is calmer and more spacious than Dubai. The region's largest mosque, a branch of the Louvre and a Formula 1 circuit fit comfortably into a single day.
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE and its largest emirate, covering 85 % of the country. Built on an artificially extended island, it differs noticeably from Dubai with its broad boulevards and the Corniche waterfront.
Most visitors come on a day trip from Dubai, but the city deserves two or three days of its own: the parks and circuits of Yas Island, the museums of Saadiyat and the mangrove reserve.
November to March is the most comfortable period. Entry to the mosque is free year-round, but the dress code is strict — an abaya is provided on site for women.
Entry: Same as Dubai: visa-free entry for up to 30 days for citizens of Uzbekistan.
Flights: Direct flights from Tashkent are available; more often travellers fly to Dubai and drive over in 1 hour 30 minutes.
Currency: UAE dirham (AED), the same as Dubai.
